Tenants

Letting Fees

A reservation fee equal to one weeks rent is payable by registering your intention to apply for a property. Should your application be accepted, the reservation fee will be deducted from your first months rent. This fee is non-refundable should any information you provide be false or misleading or if you fail the “right to rent” check. Withdrawing your application from the property or failure to take reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement, may also result in a reservation fee, or “holding deposit” retention.

Payment of the reservation fee may be by cheque, cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer (account details available on request). All cheque payments must be cleared funds prior to formal application.

Security Deposit

Should your application be successful, your landlord/landlady may require an increased deposit if the proposed tenancy is perceived to carry an increased risk, for example, if you have pets.

The maximum deposit that will be requested is equal to five weeks rent.
